A Band Agent or Booking Agent is where to go to book many of the country's fine professional bands.

Often live bands will use an agent to find them gigs, and often prefer going through an agent, to take away the hassle of bookings and payments etc.

Not to be confused with live band promoters, who tend to be tied to venues, band agents represent bands to clients and venues nationwide.
